Does anybody have any creative ideas for decorating a boy's camoflauge bedroom?
Question:We have painted the walls army green and have the camoflauge bedspread...looking for some really unique (and inexpensive) touches.
Answers:
Go to your nearest Army surplus store. Camo netting for curtains might be cool, and I'm sure you could pick up some really cool stuff at the surplus store, maybe old boots fashioned together to make a side table base. Old Army recruiting posters, or go by a recruiting station and see if they have any that they could give to you.
buy some dark coloured netting and drape it around the walls and celings etc
Black accents go well with it.
I did this for our fishing cabin for my grandson;
camo curtains, tied back like a tent flap. Camo curtains around the bed tied back like a tent flap (he had a bunk bed but you could easily hang from the ceiling;
Painted contact paper in camo and then cut out his name and put them on one wall. Put green carpet (or indoor outdoor carpet on the floor) Make a fake tree out of a cardboard rug roll(ask at local carpet places) or else paint a tree on a wall (you don*t need to be an artist) some stuffed animals on the floor with a lantern and flashlite. Think camping, you can do it.
Don't know if this is available yet, but it's kind of cool - a camo canopy
Also, use borders and green paint or camo wallpaper. Hang a canteen on the wall and anything that might go with the camo theme. Use the dark green lawn chairs for the look and also you can even set up a green screen tent in the room with the chairs inside for a buddy hang-out place.
