Am painting daughter's bdrm to go with a rose/denim/brown equestrian bedding set. Any advice on wall color?

Question:Don't want to go with the rose as it seems like too much pink. A beige seems too drab...what do you think about a white? I think white is what was shown on the company's website.

Answers:
A very light shade of beige or cream (an off white color)… make sure it’s not too yellow or too brown. You might want to take the color samples home and see how they look against the bedding and in the room…the color swatches always look lighter in the store than they do at home. Also think about maybe an accent wall of color to brighten up the room but not make it too loud. And think about your daughters ever changing style…keep the colors simple and earthy so that when she decides to change the theme of her room you wont have to worry about re-painting. Oh…and keep the ceiling white, it makes the room look larger and brighter than it is. :)good luck!!

Beige would be very drab. White would be too sterile. I would go with a soft cream or eggshell. Even a pale yellow would go very nicely.
light browns have been seen a lot and darker colors, I would probably go with a complementary brown or dark tan and maybe equestrian trim or imprints somewhere----you could even sponge browns and tans, you could even add a dab of rose to the sponging too.
What about a dark or brick red? Or if you go with a brown, find a pretty (but not busy) wall border to go around the middle, not top, of the wall.
