How do I find a licensed contractor?
Question:I need my bathroom basically remodeled and I am clueless how to get started. I have a good idea what I want but I don't know how to find someone to do it - they don't leave cards or flyers like the pool and yard service people do. Any suggestions? Where I start looking?

If you have Service Magic in your area that would be a good place to start, if not try Kudzu.com or Angies List. Service Magic will match your project to the contractors they pre-screen and then you can get 3 estimates. They are all licensed, bonded and insured. Angies List and Kudzu are basically a referral systems by people in your area who have used particular contractors and they rate their service.
