I am moving into my first apartment!?
Question:I really need to get some items for my apartment. most of the big things are already taken care of. I need things like Appliances and such. Where can i get appliances that are cheap YET pretty durable?

For small appliances, check out places like Target and Walmart. They should be having sales for this weekend. Also, you don't have to go for all the bells and whistles, which helps keep the price down.
For a coffeemaker, check out magazines for the Gevalia coffee offer where they give you a free coffeemaker and you get to keep it even if you don't buy the coffee subscription. I'm not sure if the offer is on their website, but you could check.
You could also see if any family members have an "extra" stored. Maybe they bought something new but kept the old one.

Look in the paper for people selling appliances and what not. Also check the Sunday adds for sales on new appliances.
first apartment wow, now get just a microwave and a small fridge thats all you really need for now and get what you feel comfortable with , dont go over board, try repair stores that fix appliances
We love Salvation Army, Goodwill, and consignment shops. You can get tons of great deals on good stuff. You may need to take it home and super duper clean it, but we have found many great things that way.
