Any one have experience with Pebble Tec or other pebble finish for swimming pool?

Question:Hi. I'm thinking of refinishing my swimming pool. I'm not sure if I should replaster or consider another type of finish. Does anyone have any experience with pebble type finishes or quartz. I'm sure these are considerably more expensive, but If people are happy with these surfaces I definitely am willing to spend a little extra. Any help would be much appreciated.

I had a regular pebble tec pool hard on the feet. the new pebble sheen is suppose to be better. There is a new finish out now called 3m I believe it is the new best thing. It feels good to touch and according to a couple pool guys I talked to easy to clean and hard to stain.
