I got a strategy guide, and inside came a folded-up poster. The poster has creases from being folded...?
Question:When I trying taping it onto my wall, the creases go their ways and won't lay flat against the wall. I've already tried:
-Re-enforcing the back of the poster with tape to get it to stick
-laying heavy, flat objects on it for long periods of time
-Making sure the poster is tight when I tape it up
None of them work. Does anyone have any good ways to hang up the poster, methods of completely flattening the creases, or anything that will let me hang it up?
Answers:
Fold it backwards, the opposite way of the creases.
Put it in a poster frame. They're lightweight, plastic, cheap, and come in a variety of sizes so you will probably find the right size at your local craft store (such as Michaels).
If the paper is sturdy enough, you can try hanging it in the bathroom, turning the shower on hot water and letting it steam for a while. Keep the poster OUT of the water, just let the steam get to it.
If it's NOT sturdy paper, lay it out flat on your kitchen table, place a thick towel over it and IRON the towel using a low temp setting on the iron. Use the lightest "steam" setting, if your iron has a setting OR you can mist the TOWEL (not the POSTER) with water, THEN iron it.
