How do you remove 'peal and stick' vinyl square flooring?

Question:I'd like to remove the old 'peal and stick' squares and replace them with new ones.

Answers:
Heat them with a hair dryer. It should loosen them enough to peel them off with a putty knife.

Get a large flat paint scraper. Use your hair dryer on hi or get a heat gun.Make sure it's metal. scape the old ones up and be sure to get rid of any adhesive left on the floor. You could also build a sub-floor and put the new ones on fresh wood or just put new over the old. Good luck to you.
