Checkered patterns?
Question:i have this boring white wall in my room an i was wondering if i should put posters and pictures up or paint the wall in a checkered pattern ?

Use two shades of the same color (contrasting with the other walls or complimentary to your bedding or furniture) and paint 9 or 16 squares on the wall. Use these squares to center pictures or posters on. If there is furniture, you may only want to use the upper level squares for the framed items.
I would paint the wall a different neutral color and then add framed pictures or posters. You will hate the wall or be bored with it in no time if you paint it checkered.
theres a simpler way to do this ya know.. and doesnt take as long..get flat sheets ..and get some liquid starch... put the sheets in the starcha n soak them down..then ring out the excess..put this on the walls and smooth all the wrinkles out..when this dries it will look like wallpaper ..and when youw nat to remove it?? you jsut peel it off like paper and wash the left over starch on the walls..and there..sheets have so many patterns today including the gingham ..or checked patterns..takes less time and not alot of cleanup.. these can also be used to make matching pillows..curtains etc.. wahtever your ehart desires..

i had the same boring problem but i painted my hall burberry check,,took some time using masking tape and used the original colours but well worth it,,,very effective..
One bold colour would be a better choice than checkered.
If you have an upset stomach, checks can make you feel nauseous, because they can play tricks with your eyes!
