Which color to choose.?
Question:The living room and dining room in my house is knotty pine wood paneling. The floors are hardwood same color as the wall panel. I do not plan to paint the rooms at time. What color would look nice in these rooms? I will use a lighter color just confuse on which color to use.

if you want to stay with the natural look- you could make throw pillows or buy them made in a shade of greens. or a shade of reds. you could also go with a light yellow that would brighten up the room. you could get some framed art work that could go with the decor you have and choose the colors so they would match but add brightness and color to the room. hope this helps.

That depends on the colors you are going to use in the room. Whatever color you choose, make sure to pick one several shades lighter than what you have in mind... it's amazing how much bolder color looks once you cover a wall with it. I think that generally a wall color in the off-white family (sort of khaki shade) with white trim (baseboards and crown molding) looks beautiful in almost any room.
