Has anyone ever spray painted a crib?
Question:Not sure if you could do this or not? Would you sand it down first? Would it be okay for baby?

On HGTV they showed that you can paint a crib. I have done it as well. When your done, put on some clear sealer and it will be safe for your child.

as long as the paint doesn't chip it will be fine i would sand it a little with fine sand paper first. Good luck hope it looks nice and new when u r done! :D
yes make shure its not toxic if the baby were to put its mouth on it wich is probable.
don't do it. NOT GOOD FOR BABY. what if the child chews on the wood? and not only that but the fumes are still always going to be there wheher you can still smell them or not.
Spray paint works great, but for a crib be sure to use a recommended non-toxic paint. Ask the paint department guys for what to use and be sure to prep the surface before spraying. Be sure there is no dust to muck it up. Be colorful.
