What clour walls would look good with a blue carpet?
Question:got blue carpest and blue painted walls at the moment but fancy a change, what colour should i do the walls?

I think the answer depends to some degree on how dark the blue carpet is, how much light the room gets, the rooms size etc but generally one of the main questions you need to ask yourself first is what do you want the rooms mood to be?.if it is a relaxing mood try soft creams,off whites even greyish silver tones can create a chilled out effect that is very calming, if on the otherhand you want the room to be more funky/retro and lively why not try a shade of orange.
Remember nature often holds the key.look around for a natural object ie; shell, flower, stone etc that contains the same colour and see which colours are found with it!

I have a rich blue carpet in my living room and i went with two shades of Grey, a very light tinted one for the walls and a darker richer gloss for the trim.
depending what shade of blue, just now fawns and biscuit colour browns are in.
I think cream walls are very nice, and would compliment a blue carpet.
Natural shades look nice, maye like wheat or magnolia. You could try coffee shades, or maybe a darker cream colour. I wouldnt have a dark colour on your walls, as you have a blue carpet.
You could buy some of that embossed wallpaper and emulsion over it.

The best colour for wall would be white or pale cream. This will offset density of carpet colour. Also pale colours make room larger. You don't say what room it is? You can contrast the blue carpet with beige,cream,primrose,any of the pale pastel colours. Good Luck!
It depends on what shade of blue, really. I like grey, red or rose walls with navy blue
For light blue, I think cream would be nice.

I had a blue carpet many years ago I painted the walls where the windows were primrose yellow, the other walls a lighter shade of blue than the carpet, hope this works for you.
