Answers:
White ceilings look good. You can do tan, but I would'nt do green. It would be to much.
I would really paint it the same color!
i dont know im colorblind when in doubt use white ceiling paint :^) makes a room seem larger
Yes- Very, very, very light green. Good Luck
I think white celiengs look good, you dont want tooo much green in your house...
tan or blue sounds good. they both match and would look pretty good
painting the ceiling the same color as the walls makes the ceiling seem a little lower , where as a slightly diffrent color green would be a nice contrast ,but definitely a lighter green since a darker color would again lower the ceiling
yes i think a nice beige color would be ok since brown and green are both earth colors
i would do the slightly lighter green
B.
green looks good wth orange
well to start off dont paint the ceiling too dark because it hard to relax and if its too bright its hard to look up and dont u want people to admire it if its a good color? so well it all depends on your personality if ur ito funk and style keep the ceiling white. if ur into casual and romance change it to the same color as the walls. this is onnly my opinion so dont think im calling anyone funky if they do this its just my opinion.
Never tried it myself but I've heard if you are having a hard time picking a 3rd color you should mix the first two and you'll get the perfect complimenting color. Sounds good in some cases though perhaps not this one.
Try going to Benjamin Moore's website, you can pick a picture that resembles your room (or upload a pic of your room, though I couldn't make it work) and mess with the paint colors of the walls, ceiling and trim. Maybe it'll help you better visualize your options.
I'd probably stick with white myself. Or if the green is already light just use that on the ceiling.
Good luck!
id paint the ceiling the same color as your trim.. the tan is ok ..but i did that once and ended up repainting the ceiling as it didnt look so good when i was finished an the room organized..id go with white or an off white...most people dont realize this..but theres 100 shades of white!! so id go with off white..and see how that looks..the tan may make it look off as everythign else is green an white..the tan would seem out of place unless u di your trim it tan as well or incorporate some tan in another place...
pick an accent color of something that stands out in your living room or something you would like to stand out. take it to your hardware store and they can match the color for you and you can paint it that color. say there is a little bit if lavender or light blue in your couch color... take that color and make it stand out with your ceiling!
i hope you like this advice
The white ceiling would be better than a tan or green..White would reflect light better...and leave the crown molding white..
I discovered this by accident! It's so cool! We painted my mother-in-laws kitchen. Got one color and painted the walls and the cieling the same color. BUT.when we put up a boarder that seperated the two, they looked like different shades matched to go together! You can't tell they are the same color! So, if you are putting up crown molding, that's a fancy boarder, should do the same for you. It looks really nice too. There's an idea for ya. Hope this helps. Good luck.
my opinion is to leave the ceiling white, and make ur molding a lil wider or should i say bigger. molding makes the most art for your ceiling.
You want it very much a lighter color than your walls, so either a very faint green, to set off the white moulding or a very light beige or offwhite, just to give it some depth.
paint the ceiling white(flat-helps hide any imperfections) then paint the crown molding gloss white. white ceilings help add depth to a room and also improve lighting.
