I need gift ideas for a 7 year old boy!?
Question:I am trying to think of something unique for my nephew. His mother told me that he's into Pokemon, but everyone else is getting Pokemon toys so I want to give him something different. He would probably like most things that boys his age are into, but again, I am looking for something a little bit different so he has some variety in his toys!!
I was thinking of maybe a craft set of some kind, he likes making things..
I also was thinking of a book that he could fill in about himself.. Does something like that even exist?
Any comments on those two ideas plus your own ideas are very much appreciated!
Answers:
maybe some craft kits like putting things together . or making some thing from a craft kit . look at the discovery stores in the mall they usually have unusual things that you cant find anywhere else . But i would say look in the mall first and then go from there . good luck .

There are lots of neat books. I find that my son who is close to that age, loves books from Barnes and Noble. They even have books that are aimed at boys that are books and crafts all in one. For instance, books on airplanes that come with paper airplane instructions and even have stuff to make the airplanes.
Also, what about a book on how to draw Pokemon? My kids have some books that show them how to draw their favorite characters and they love them.
Hope that helps.
My boys love the erecto sets and the sets that have the magnets to connect to build things..they also love the wood puzzles that you can put together which come in a dinasour, cranes, birds..all kinds of things..also zbots which is a puzzle of cars, they also like the model cars and jets to put together..you can find most of these things at toy stores or visit your hobbie shop or craft stores..they have lots of cool things boys can build and explore...hope it helps
