What are some things I can put on my door?
Question:Ok I used to have a door curtain thing to make my room look cooler, but it is always in the way so I am going to take it down. I think my door would be too plain though so I want to decorate it. What are some things I can put on it?? So far I have thought of things like comics and pictures, but I can't think of anything else. I want to put some really cool things up. Please help! Thanks

bead curtain. You can even make one by rolling up narrow bits of paper mache onto a string, making at least 2 dozen,let dry in the sun, paint them, place on a "rod" and put it up in the door frame, very retro-cool.
You can buy CD hangers. Those big plastic sheets that you put CD's in. They also make them for movies and games. Here is an image of the CD wallpaper.

Why not paint a mural on it. Or take old cds with all their colors and hang them hooked to each other which looks cool...if you go to hgtv.com and diynetwork.com you can find all kinds of ideas for redoing any kind of rooms and such..hope it helps

get a cork boad and put it on ur door and you can thumb tack pics you take of differnt things, You and ur friends, best friends etc to it,and you can swtich them often, with out having a bunch of little pin holes in ur door
when i redid my bedroom at my parents i have one entire wall made thats nothing but corkboard, it came in great to hang pics, posters, Notes that i wouldn't forget to do somthing, i even had my ribbons from when i was in 4 H and won with my rabbits hanging on it :-)

I always used posters of my favorite musicians, sports heroes, or any other poster that I thought was cool (like a blacklight poster of a coiled up cobra that I once had). Two posters can pretty well fill an entire door, and there are hundreds to choose from! Just visit your favorite music store, or even Wal-mart. Many times theatres will give away their movie posters when they are done with them. Be the first to call and ask the manager of your local theatre if you can have the next Harry Potter poster (or whatever you're into) when they are done with it. How cool is that?

Have your mom take you to a craft store and ask them to show you decoupage ,it rubs onto any clean surface with what looks like a popcicle stick,and it comes in a HUGE variety of themes even lettering,and best of all it washes off with soap and water when you are ready for it to come off.
