Relocating two beam posts?

Question:I am remodeling a basement and have two metal I-beams that runs 36 feet with 2 post on each 12' apart. I want to relocate two posts that are load bearing. I am thinking of adding a post 6 feet from the wall and sandwich it into a wall and another at 3 feet from the exixting post then removing the orginal post. For the other problem is it possible to add a sister beam 4 feet away parralel to the existing beam that spans 19 feet with two jack posts at each end so I can remove one post from the orginal beam.

Answers:
Very doubtful. Depends on quite a few structural factors as well as the beam and column sizes. Short answer is NO.
