How much would it cost for a prof painter and decorator to complete a living room, hallway and stairs.?
Question:Strip the walls, paper and paint including skirting boards and banisters.
Living room around 16' x 12'
Hallway, stairs and landing ? small 3 bed Barratt house.
Paper not included.

itll cost ya quite a bit..how about to save money you remove the old walpaper yourself?? take a spray bottle filled with warm water..soak the wallpaper down..get a putty knife and scrape it right off..comes off very easy and fast like that..also painting..why not do it yhourslef and save even mpore money??have some friends or family over about 3-4 and have pizza for their helping and go to town..this project would be done in a few hours..well like 7-8 ..can get several rooms started and finished at the same time..professionals are going to hury to do the job..but their going to make sure they make alot of money doing this..remember they make a living off their work.. so whatever ya decide... try and save soem money by doing it or most of the work yourself.
I would say 2 to 3 hundred pounds. But if you get a few illegals they will do it cheaper. say 80 quid?
