Question:

Answers:
My girlfriend and I were just talking about this! After you use them, put them in a plastic bag and put them in the freezer. She swears this works. goood luck.

Paint
Use some cheap engine oil
<>Not really sure why you would want to soak them in anything. If you have plain steel wool pads, just store them away from water (I keep steel wool pads in a barn and they don't rust there!). If you are talking about Brillo, once you use them they are going to rust in time and are meant to be disposed of after 1 or 2 uses.
I put my SOS pads that I have barely used in a plastic sandwich bag and put them in the freezer. They are not rusted when I want to use them again. I guess it would work for steel wool pads, also.
