I am still searching for a good internet security system. AVG looks good but...?
Question:if I can find something in the forty dollar range or free (not as in free trial), that would be alot better. if not, I will go with avg
any knowledgeable feedback or suggestions?
don't say the 'n' word, they are a disappointment.
Answers:
I use the free version of Avast and have had no problems in two years.
avg is good and free... i don't understand the problem
I use AVG. I used Macafee when it came with my AOL but found it disappointing and went back to AVG.
Norton is affordable in the 40 dollar range but I would just use the free trial AVG because it has almost all the features Norton does but for free.
AVG is free and it's absolutely awesome. My husband paid for Norton suite and I have to say my computer functions better than his. I have free AVG virus and spyware, as well as rootkit. As soon as I hit the lottery I'm going to pay Grisoft. (I hope they don't hold their breath . . .)
Avast anti virus is free and is what I use. I find Avast better than AVG (only my opinion).
1st and Foremost, why is this under cleaning and laundry? Lol
For good protection and internet security, go with Symantec Norton 360. I've grown up with Norton and I seen it develop and get better in internet security and anti virus fighting. So if you want superior security on your computer, go with Norton 360.

I use the free AVG program with no problems. It updates daily so most viruses are covered.
ZONE ALARM -- the best system out there.
