I used toothpaste windex they dont work is there anything else you can use to clean cds?

Don't use toothpaste. It leaves a film. I just use water and a lint free cloth, and have always had good luck. I know there are commercial cleaners for CDs, and probably the most effective. Call and ask a Best Buy employee. They may be able to tell you what to use that you already have at home.
If you take a highlighter and use it in a circle around the disc, then wipe it off with a kleenex, it should work. Just do a circular motion around the whole disc, then wipe it off...I've done it before and it's worked for me.
I use cleaning wipes.
baby wipes work great on cds
I use eye glasses cleaner. You can go to the store and get CD cleaner.
I use alcohol to clean my cds.
good old soap and water liquid dish soap works wonderfully
