Wots the best way to get rid of house flies...??
Question:it a terrible problem for my home,,, my house is spotless..but only thing i can put it down to is that im surrounded by fields..i have tried sprays..those fly papers(ugly things)..they are gross...help me please...

Get lots of frogs and scatter them round your house? Try a cpl of venus fly traps? Or heres a good 1..get a few plastic cups and and put about a centimetre of vinigar in them and put them in rooms which are bad and leave them there for 24hours.It really works! or u could get one of those neon light things that zaps them with electricity? failing that.move house lol
You can get pretty flower window stickers that attract the flies, and then they get stuck. It's basically the same as fly papers but a little more attractive.
You could always put a pile of horse poo on the doorstep?
When flies come into my house, I open the blinds on one large window and keep the vaccuum cleaner nearby. As they go to the window, suck them up. It doesn't take long to get them all.

I have bought some fly tapes, i bought the more expensive Rentokill branded ones that i must say are brilliant also its a good idea to keep the air cool in the house as flies like more atmospheres...

get a freezer bag and fill it up with water and hang it above the door frame!
go buy some webbing...spin it around the house...that will catch the flies....than you can eat them
Well in the summer, when i have my doors open i use those plastic/beaded door things, god cant remember the name but they hang down over your door... they are fantastic and kept all the flies out my house all summer long!

Try wearing knickers, and take a dump in the garden.
I use those ugly fly papers. Yes they are gross but I've found that if you put them somewhere out of the way by the doors no one notices them. The only other thing that worked for us was lizards.

I've solved this problem by putting bead curtains up at the doors. Few flies get or bees, wasps etc., get past nowadays.

Do you have any trash cans that have not been emptied (esp in the bathroom with TPs?)or kitty litter that needs emptied . If so, empty them. You could zap them in mid-air with hairspray.
I agree with fly papers. As ugly as they may seem, they're effective.
I have this zap thing its a blue light that flies and mouths and any other flying things love. they fly into light and get zap by a electric volt.
