In restaurants we used to use lemon slices and swish them around with very hot water. The citrus acid takes the stains away and swishing rubs the lemons all around. Then run a pot of clean water in and rinse to finish.
Baking soda.
Baking soda.
bleach and water and then rinse the bleach solution well and let it dry. You should have a sterile and clean pot.
Vinegar. Run through the brew cycle. Follow up with several of plain water
Add 1/2 cup vinegar to your coffee pot. Add water to fill. Pour through machine and allow it to run through. Flush with 3 more pots of clean water, running each through the machine. Use vinegar and water to clean the outside also.
You will not taste the vinegar and it works wonders!!
Vinegar -- specifically white vinegar.
just run it thru the dishwasher
Use about a 3-1 water to vinegar mixture run it through the brew cycle. Then run 3 or 4 more cycles with just water (fresh water each time). Clean the outside with any kitchen cleaner and make sure to rinse it well with water when your done.
Vinegar, then run clear water through the brewing cycle 2 or 3 times.
Use pure vinegar first and then run it through the brew process. After that rinse with water at least 2 times through the brew cycle and it will clean coffee pot and coffee maker.
I like to use white vinegar.
Also there is a coffee pot cleaning solution you can buy from the store.
use a little vinegar and soda let set for 10-15 minutes.
Run a caraffe of half water/half white distilled vinegar. After it finishes, plug your sink, pour the solution from the pot into the sink, use a clean rag, dip into solution, clean outside of pot and maker. You can also use the solution (provided it is not too dark with coffee) to clean the top/sides of the stove and oven and the inside/outside of the microwave, and the rest can be poured into the bottom of an empty dishwasher and run through one complete cycle to remove gunk buildup. Happy Cleaning!
white vinegar then clear water flush
I agree with the vinegar...then run through a few cycles of plain water
You could try using vinegar about 2 cups let the vinegar sit for one half hour then turn on the coffeemaker and run it again then 2 or 3 cycles of cool water. Some times coffee is so strong you cannot get it out. But try this any way.
We used to put lemon juice, salt and ice cubes in the coffee pot and swish it around every night before closing. Salt and the ice cubes help get the nitty gritty off of the glass. Usually twice a year or so they would all be bleached, but the lemon juice/salt/ice cubes is great for regular cleanings
I use CLR and the directions are on the side of the bottle. It get the taste out and the stains.
I use glass cleaner such as Windex or Glass Plus. You just have to rinse it out really well.
I put my coffee pot in the dishwasher.
