What should I charge?
Question:I am starting my own move in, move out apartment cleaners. I am wondering what I should charge to clean a one bedroom apartment. Can anyone help?

I think a lot of it should be based on the job, some will be more diffilcut that others. you may only need to vaccum some and do some basic cleaning, while others may require shampooing the carpets, washing all the walls and cabinets, and deep scrubbing the bathrooms, not just your usual spray on cleaner.
You also need to take into consideration the cost of your equipment, which you will be able to write off on taxes as a business expense but you may have to depreciate them over time...anyway, there may be a lot wear and tear on some of you equipment.
Depends on the job you are going to do. I pay about $150.00 for my maids.

Call similar companies in your area pretending to be a potential customer and ask them what their rates are. That should give you a good idea.
