How to get the fuzzies off 100% cotton towels?
Question:I just bought these towels from Target and they were pretty expensive, I washed them all once then after my shower I used one of them and all the little fuzz stuff is coming off on my skin ALL OVER and It's really beyond annoying. I put them away in my closet and havn't used them since. How do I get the towel to stop doing that?

This is an easy one and I am suprised at how many people dont know this. all you need to do is add some plain white vinegar to the rinse cycle of the washing machine and it will remove all the lint TRUST ME! it will also make your towles smell nice and they will be nice and fluffy!!
Good Luck!
Lint roller
Wash them a few times in a row. Put them in the dryer with 3 or 4 dryer sheets. If it is still a problem use a razor to shave off the fuzzies. I know it is annoying to be clean and then rub lint all over yourself. I bought towels from Belks that did this. These steps worked for me. Washing and drying numerous times helped but the razor made the biggest difference. If nothing else works take them back, they should be understanding. Who wants to step out of the shower and immediately feel like they need to get back in?!
You could try washing them in cold water and drying them again, or you can take them back to Target-if you still have the receipt. Or if you are really that unhappy with them, take them back anyway. Let Customer Service know what kind of fuzziness they cause. Take care.
A lot of new, plush towels leave fuzz on skin. I found the only way to stop the fuzzies from shedding onto my skin is to wash the towels, with just a sprinkling of detergent, 4 or 5 times before using them. I know this sounds like a waste of time, energy, and money, but it should get rid of the loose fuzz and then you'll be able to use your expensive new towels.. You could always just put up with the fuzz for a few showers and wash the towels as normal. The fuzz will still disappear after a few washings.
