Question:Is it ok ot put a floor wax on ceramic tile?
Answers:
Dont do it! It could go on uneven and be a slippery night mare.
If your tiles are old they may need re-glazing, or replacement.
Cleanning is easy, use hot water and a nylon broom to scrub then mop up the loosened dirt. The broom is easy to use because you dont have to bend and light enough not to do damage.
Because the tiles are not absorbent you can mop up all the water and it will dry very fast and if thats not good enough use a swifter pad to really dry the thing
Yes but it may be a waste of time. Ceramic or glazed tile are very impervious so you are not sealing the surface, but simply putting something not nearly as tough on topi of it. A commercial grade polish, available at home centers, will greatly outperform wax or household use floor finishes.
Dont recommend it the floor will be very slippery and someone can fall and get hurt.
