Goin' bananas!?
Question:How do I clean banana stains from clothes, tablecloths, paper -heck - off anything?
Answers:
I can suggest this, you can try first of all with a little of your own dish washing up liquid, add a small amount to the stain and rub in with your fingers , Wash on a 40ºc . Other than that you can soak your clothes in cold water then add salt. this way also removes blood stains. I myself always use the good old fashioned soap bar , soap. soaking the garment in cold water , rubbing the soap on& leaving the clothes free from the water for about 1/2 hr. Then give a gentle rub to the stain, add more soap, this time leaving the soap on ,pop into the machine , again on a 40ºc. Most of the time once you have washed the clothes like this & by hanging them out in the sun the stains will be bleached out by the sun . Also for those under arm sweat stains , I find this the best way
I went bananas a long time ago
what the heck do you DO in your house?
dance around having banana fights?!
We are very difficult to get off aren't we? Just stop hugging us and the problem will go away.
Soap and water will normally do the trick. Bananas aren't a very persistent stain. Anything that can be thrown in the wash - do it (um, WASH it, I mean). As far as paper, you'll likely have to pitch it. You can rubbing it gently with a little water.
Try EATING the bananas next time...
In the stores one gets stain remover for fruit stains. Try that.
Yes bananas can leave stains. (I really noticed it with baby food bananas) If the item is white use a bleach stick and wash immediately. Another thing that will diminish the brown coloring is lemon juice.
Try Vanish spray before you wash its brill stuff. Cant help you with paper stains your on your own there.
