There are literally thousands of kinds of plastic for even more types of applications. Each has a different formula so you would have to specify more parameters for us to get to your answer. All true "plastics" are petrochemical (oil+ stuff) based.. Other things that people refer to as plastics are resins and polymers which are a totally different chemical make up..
