Cheap way to clean toilet?
Question:What's the cheapest thing I can use to clean my toilet? How about Comet - or will it scratch and not work very well?

my mom used comet my whole life! it does not scratch! i use it on my tub and it is fine
Bleach works good.
comet oh and something to keep it fresh: get rock salt and put about a tbsp of salt rocks in back of toilet. Helps it stay fresh and clean.
Bleach, it doesn't take much (about a 1/2 cup) and it kills the bacteria.

Baking soda and vinegar, if used together clean well.
Comet, bleach and a green scrubby works well...Comet won't scratch any porcelain...

Comet will be the best. It nows come scratch free. It's about $1.00 and I will also throw some bleach in to as well to get a even better clean.
