Can i dye a 92%silk 8% spandex dress?

Question:the dress is creme and i would like to dye it pink. the only detail is the crochet straps which i don't mind if they don't take the color as well. the rest of the dress is plain.

Answers:
Yes you can absolutely dye it. Any natual substance, which includes silk, will accept dye. The silk will take the dye, the spandex won't, but I doubt you'll notice as the silk content is so high. I would choose a slightly darker shade than you want the final result to be, to make up for the spandex. Pink is a great color to use for it too. Having a light base color like cream will also help. Have fun!
