Answers:
wash it in hot water with soap and it will come out. Standard machine washing should do. Add bleach if the item is white
usually mould rots the clothing
Bet you won't leave wet towels around again!
I understand that on washable fabrics laundering will remove most, persistent stains can be treated with hydrogen peroxide mixture. (1 part 20 by vol to 6 parts water)
white vinegar may work, and baking soda.
if it's white hydrogen peroxide solution. or chlorine bleach solution.
You could try soaking it in biotex solution before washing or get some vanish
bleach worked for me.. full potion not watered down.. if your clothes are colored im not sure you should use bleach on them..
Soak the dress in plain tepid water for 30 minutes to loosen up the fibers as well as the mold. Spray/squirt lemon juice on the areas affected by mold. Place the garment outside in the full sun (sun shining directly on the stain). Keep a close watch on it to be sure the fabric isn't fading as well as the mold stains. It might only take 15 minutes, but it could be longer depending how badly it's stained. If the moldy area gets dry before the stain is gone, spray on more lemon juice. Be sure the sun continues to shine directly on the stained area. Once the stain is gone, rinse the dress until the lemon juice is completely out of it, then launder as usual.
Always rinse out the lemon juice thoroughly, otherwise there is a chance that if the dress is worn in the sun, the lemon juice will react again, and the fabric will continue to lighten.
Lemon juice and sunlight will remove many stains when other cleaning methods fail. It is particularly good for removing those mysterious yellow spots that just seem to appear out of nowhere sometimes.
Gosh , it´s bad when these thing´s happen, well the best way I know to remove mould / mildew, is this . First put the dress outside in the sunlight , the sun kills mould / mildew. Then add fresh lemon juice to the stain, again hang outside in the sun . once it´s dry wash on a cold wash. Also you do the same with any dry cleaning materials , you add lemon juice and salt. and wipe down with a sponge and clear water . hope this helps you a little
