How do you remove caked on grease from acoustic ceilings of a restaurant? Fomula 409 doesn't work.?

Question:There is a cheap product that the pros use and nothing I've used works.

Answers:
Try using TSP. It is available at lowes. It is also a key ingredient in most dishwasher powder soap. But remember to rinse thouroughly. Tri Sodium Phosphate=TSP!

Two products that I use that are very effective on grease are industrial strength citrus based degreaser (Home Depot) and a product called Brake Kleen (Walmart or auto supply)

Check the label for flammability to insure safety.
Simple Green and Mr. Clean eraser sponges.
Flip the tiles?
grease lightening is really good and the girl above that said the cleaner with mr. clean sponges has something ive done that before and it works great
Taco Bell uses simple green in their corp stores. Or flip the things.
I'm not sure exactly what you mean by acoustic ceilings, but if it's what I am thinking of, the tiles that are hung in wire frames, I think these may be way too porous to clean. You may need to just replace the tiles.
I've found the most effective thing for tough degreasing jobs comes in the car care section of the store. I can't remember the exact name but the label is purple and black...lol.
Try some rubbing alachol and it will remove the excess
