How do you wash a soft toy?

Question:without putting it in the washing machine

Answers:
I would do it like I wash my delicate sweaters, in a basin with lukewarm water and soap. Just leave it for some time, then gently squeese untill clean. Then rinse.

Try liquid Oxy, and a sponge
nothing wrong with putting in washing machine. but if you don't want to then wash it by hand with warm soapy water
Hand wash it or sponge it with soapy water. I just shove it in the machine.
Well I have in the past just put it in a pillow case and shoved it straight into the washer.
put it in a bag with bi carb of soda , shake then remove from the bag and shake all the excess sodaa from it.
Get a warm damp sponge with a little bit of fariy liquid, and clean it. Then put it on the washing line.
You can usually use some sort of carpet cleaner on the area that needs to be cleaned. I'd test a small area first, though to make sure that it's color fast. If it looks really heinous, though, I probably wouldn't hesitate to put it in the washer. I have a little girl who has many, many stuffed animals that she can't live without. She tends to feed them too much and they get to looking and smelling pretty funky. I usually toss them in the washer so that they can get a "bath" She likes them better after they've been made a bit softer too.
i know most toys say clean with a sponge only but this is never enough. i always put soft toys in the washing machine, but hang them out to dry as the tumble dryer definately doesnt agree with them. however, when it comes to soft bodied dolls i just stick them in the bath, sometimes with the kids. they enjoy washing them, and it teaches them to wash themselves too. use baby shampoo so you know theres nothing to upset your kids skin when they play with them, then rinse well with cold water. hang them out to dry or place in a pillow case and put them in the airing cupboard. takes a little while to dry but works well
Wash it by hand with delicate soap then let dry.
you could put it in a large pillow case. tie the end shut with something such as a large heavy duty rubber band. If you eat broccoli one of the bands they put around it would work too. Unless you have a child that is or was a paper delivery person. I would think you could put it in the dryer on a low heat or air setting. Good Luck!
