How do I get washing stains out of a shirt?

Question:I have washed a blue shirt with another red top and the die from the red top has left a stain on the other shirt, have soaked in laundry powder and hasn't come out. Please help :)

If you've dried it, the stain is probably set in. You might take it to a dry cleaner and see if they can get it out.
