Question:looks dry happened during the night light colored pale yellow and white check scotch guarded couch
Answers:
Use hydrogen peroxide. Pour a little on, blot it up, and repeat as necessary. Do not rub or you will smear the stain!
Peroxide works to break down blood molecules. Blot don't rub. Cold water rinse after again blot the excess.
What goes thru my mind at the moment is seeing you slaughter your cat in the middle of the dark night for getting on your couch, now you want to cover up the evidence! ( I watch alot of murder mysterys! lol!) But anyway, the dollar store sells this stuff for two dollars called "AWESOME". It removes any blood, and other stuff that has been there forhowever long. Spray it, rub it and let it soak for a while, then later clean with water, as in throw it in the washer, but a couch wont fit, so I would just use a rag and water and rub clean. If it doesnt work the first time, because you cant throw your couch in the washer, then repeat these steps. It will work , that stuff is awesome!
Been there done it --it wasn't funny at the time either. I mixed oxi(sun brand you can get at dollar general or walmart it is cheaper) mix it with water in a spray bottle and spray on the spot. wipe clean according to directions. It worked well for me as one of our cats decided to have her babies where I was sitting as opposed to the nice box we made up for her. it completely removed all the blood. Good Luck!
use a white bar of soap like ivory it worls wonders to remove blood stains
