Answers:
When I was growing up we "never" had an "automatic" dishwasher. My sister and I were the dishwashers. We washed in hot water and used regular dish detergent. She would wash one week and I would dry. The next week we would switch. No one ever got sick!!! Oh Ya,,,,,I hated to dry!!
I will just say this: Before the dishwasher my kids and I were always sick. After the dishwasher we weren't, it disinfects.
yes i do them by hand all the time i just use ajax or ivory which ever i can afford at the time as one of them is real cheap and one of them is not ivory is the best but is more $$
also just use gloves and real hot water they sell dish washing gloves at the super markets
no, if you rinse before washing in a dish soap, and rinse and then dry as soon as possible.
Duh, GERMS! If you don't wash your dishes thoroughly don't invite me over.
yeah works just as good just use very hot water and rinse well
The danger is not washing away any germs clinging to your dishes. Use hot soapy water and rinse well. If someone has a cold be more careful and remember just because a glass someone drank water out of looks clean doesn't mean it is. Dishwashers are very nice but not something you can't live without.
If you don't clean your dishes perfectly then you could end up with alot of germs. Have fun being sick.
