Washing up liquid in washing machine?

Question:i just put washing up liquid in my washing machine thinking it would give it a good clean cos it was getting a bit smelly but now the drum is full of bubbles, how do i get rid of them??

Answers:
a hand full of salt or a bar of soap thrown in the wash always cuts over sudsing for me! Next time the washer gets gross use either the liquid dishwasher cleaners they sell now or a full bottle of white vinegar in a small hot load. run without clothes let sit 30 minutes then turn the dial to spin and you're all set.

To get rid of over sudsing just use one cup of White Vinegar to your rinse this will remove the residue from your clothes and make them soft and clean and will help your machine rinse easier, don't worry about whats in your machine already it will all be washed away with the vinegar and your clothes won't be harmed. Good Luck !
bar soap. Wash your hands with some bar soap and work up a lather. Then put the lather on the bubbles. For the smell in the dishwasher, pour a cup of vinegar in the dishwasher when it is empty and run it.
