Remove solid and use a product called Folex (available in most Target stores). Should be fine.
I have a kittie who does that & I start by removing all solid cat food. Than soak the carpet using a stain remover product - I swear by Resolve Carpet Stain remover - and let it sit. After about an hour I vacuum the spot to remove any leftovers & VOILA - carpet is beautiful again! Good Luck!
zout spot remover works really well. and just plain Lysol concentrate with water and a towel get out most any stain and odor. comes in small brown bottle about$3.45. I swear by it
First...Get your cat some hairballl teartment. Either in the food or in the tube. Then clean up the mess. They sell a product called "Hot Shot" in most stores. It works very well.
Woolite makes a Pet Oxy cleaner that works very well. I have a cat that likes to vomit on the carpet as well.
I take a paper towel and get up all the chunks first and then blot it with another paper towel. Then you take a spray bottle of carpet cleaner like oxi clean and scrub it with a scrubber. After all that I'd take a towel and get as much wetness out of the carpet as I could.
