How can I remove mold/mildew from the seat of a stroller without using bleach?
Question:I left the stroller outside and it got rained on and now there is mold/mildew on the seat which is fabric. I've sprayed it with stain remover and washed it and it didn't come off. What can I get it out with without using any bleach products?

Try a dishwashing soap that has bleach alternative in it. You can also try Soft Scrub with bleach alternative. If the cover is not dyed fabric, it should be okay to use a little bleach, but I would use it in the context of a bleach cleaner - not straight bleach. Maybe like Lysol with bleach.
Try a laundry stain remover...
You can try straight Lemon juice. It will work if its not bad. A mix of 1/2 bleach and water will fix it if it isnt a died fabric.

You can try lemon juice and sunshine ... but it may fade it a little. Sometimes peroxide will lift mildew stains, too.
You can make a paste out of borax (like 20 Mule Team found in the laundry isle) and rub onto the stain, let set for 30 minutes and wash as usual. Or you could try rubbing some Clorox 2, a color safe bleach, onto it, let set 30 minutes then wash as usual. Sunlight also kills mold, but it's the stain that's hard to remove without bleach. pop it back outside, make sure it´s a nice hot sunny day. The sun kills of mildew and mold. Bring indoors, now add lemon juice to the mildew/mold stains. pop back outside again and leave to dry. Once this has been done wash with mild soap and rinse well, if you have a garden hose, then even better, this way you will be sure to rinse all the soap out. leave in the sun to dry , This should rid the problem . You use this method also for dry cleaning materials, Do the same but add lemon juice and salt, wipe down with a cold water sponge
