Set your alarm clock to go off in 15 min´s time, see how much you can do . Trust me you get a lot done, have a little rest when the clock sounds time up. Then do the same again. 15 min´s here and there works well. Work in one room at a time, never waste time taking things back to their rightful places till you have finished in that room. Leave them outside the room you are working in. Leave the laundry to till last , . Have a nice weekend, if you work this way , you will have plenty time to relax

Pick up the clutter, some of the easiest ways to pick up are to get rid of random mail, papers, and other stuff laying around. Pick up dirty laundry off the floor always makes a room look cleaner. It may not be the cleanest, but it makes it look clean.

If there is laundry to do and you have washer/dryer, put on a load to wash and clean the kithen, dishes, wipe things off, put things away and sweep. If laundry isn't done, pick things up in the living space and put away until washer is done. When it's done, transfer to dryer or hang dry and then finish the living space. After everything is picked up and put away, dust and then vacuum or sweep. Now onto the bathroom. Spray down sink and then tub/shower with the cleaner, clean the sink and rinse, then do the tub/shower. Now take every thing off the counter and clean it. When putting things back, do they really need to be out on the counter? If not, put them in the cabinet. Now, put cleaner in the loo and let that sit while you clean the floor, if you have carpet in there, I'm sorry! Vacuum it or scrub the floor and then finish the loo. In the bedroom, put everything away and then dust. Take sheets off the bed and vacuum the mattress to prevent getting bed bugs (do this at least 2 times a month). Remake the bed and vacuum or sweep the floor. Is there any other room to clean? Don't forget the dryer! Fold and put the clothes away. (I forgot to say that if you have 2 loads of laundry, when the first load goes in dryer, second one in washer!) Make sure you keep the laundry going. It is better to stop cleaning and keep the dryer running as it is more efficient if you keep it hot between loads, so try to remove one load and imediately put in the next. Clean around the laundry, this also breaks up the house cleaning so you don't get so bored or tired of it. To keep the house or apartment neat, take 15 minutes every night before going to bed to put things away. When you have a drop in guest, your apartment will always look neat.
