How to remove mold stains from bathroom grout? -?
Question:
Answers:
bleach (sodium hypochlorite) and peroxide are both oxidizers and should get the job done. DO NOT use them both at the same time. Tilex is basically a bleach product, as is anything with sodium hypochlorite as an ingredient.
Laundry bleach typically has a lower concentration of sodium hypochlorite while the cleaning products usually have a higher concentration and is why they often work better/faster and burn your skin/eyes/nose more severely as well.
If you have a problem area, leave a paper towel soaked in whatever you use sitting on the stain, but be careful you may end up altering the color of the grout.
Since grout is basically concrete, a mild solution of muriatic acid will work too, but lemon juice (citric acid) is a safer solution.

Re-grout it
Your going to have to use some form of bleach, and an old tooth brush to get in the groves. It should do the trick, if it does not seem to be coming clean you may have to re-grout depends on the condition.
Have you tried lemon juice and Arm&Hammer bakeing soda? Mix it into a paste and put some on the grout. See if that works.
If it doesn't you can always try bleach or some other cleaning product that has bleach in it.
But if you want to stay away from chemicals you can check out www.melaleuca.com. They have lots of enironmentally friendly cleaning products based on tea tree oil. Costs a preaty penny, though and you have to join up. But it's an idea.
Are you sure they are mold stains and not mildew stains? I believe the methods listed would work for mold, but not mildew.

I have tile and use Telex Mildew Root Penetrator and Remover. It works great. Keep the humidity down in your bathroom. Mold and mildew have a hard time growing in low humidity. (35 percent) I keep a dehumidifier in mine.
