How do you get permanent marker out of a wooden table?

I had perm marker on a table that had a good finish and was told to use rubbing alcohol. It dulled the finish a tad, but took the marker off.

Hopefully the stain didnt get too deep into the wood... but if not, the Mr.Clean Magic Eraser should do the trick. You can also try a small amount of alcohol.

Try nail polish remover.. but dab it on a spot that will not show it first as it may damage the finish..
