Any good idea on washing clothes that are covered with oil-based mud from the oil rig?

Question:washing clothes that are stained from roughnecking!

Answers:
old traditiobal remedy, cheap, always works, go into your local store buy some soda crystals, usually in the cleaning section, put you oily clothes washing machine and add a good cupful of soda crystals, no washing powder, the grease will all go, the clothes will feel great, will cost next to nothing

go to any store and theres a item called stainoff ( its about $3 ) and it takes off oil, paint, glues, and sticky grime.

hope this helps
Washing your clothes with a can (maybe two in your case) of Coke will help remove the oil (COLD WATER). May not get it all out, but it does work.
Dawn dish liquid and vingar
Wash them with degreaser instead of laundry soap. It will break down the oils.
I work on equipment and get covered with grease.

I got and old washer and use what my dad used for work clothes
