How do i make a faded Black hat Black again?

Question:THe hat i have is http://www.tillys.com/tillys/variants.as...
its 98%cotton and 2% P.U Spandex. It is faded in the front and the cap part.
How do i make it look black again? It has someon orangespots and placees

Because of the white markings, you would not be able to dye the cap. You best method would using a PERMANENT black marker on the spots. When marker dry, heat cap in clothes dryer to set most of the marker in the cap. Over time you will have to repeat on occasion.

There are some other dyes on the market, but due to the paint mixture, it would come off on other clothing or on your forehead from sweat. To the best of my knowledge it is the marker. I've used this method with blue on jeans before also.
