Cleaning red ink off of a white wall?
Question:the other night i had a get together with a few friends at my house. well, in my room people have signed and drawn on my walls with chalk. and one of my friends hadn't done it yet, so she decided she wanted to. but the problem is we were a little bit drunk and couldnt find the chalk, so she signed with red pen ALL OVER MY WALL. and we're moving soon so i have to clean it off. i've tried a lot of things, hairspray, WD-40, bleach, magic erasers, nothin worked. i just scrubbed some paint off. so any other tips? or do i just need to paint over the whole thing?
Answers:
Try Kilz paint. It is white anyway so it could possibly blend well. Kilz is needed regardless as it is the only thing that will stop the ink from bleeding through if you decide to paint.
Methylated spirit Removes ink and grass stains. Use a soft cloth to apply, or an old piece of rag. Once the ink is off, wash with a little warm water and a small amount of washing up detergent. Rinse well and dry. Should come off straight away
