Do cotton clothes shrink if they're in the drawer too long?

Question:

Answers:
The clothes get smaller as the numbers on the bathroom scale get larger. No - hot water - and just repeated washing does it. Our bodies change as we age - any age - and that may effect the fit making you think they shrunk.

Most likely not, it might be that the owner got bigger.
No! I've never heard of that ever happening.
Cotton only shrinks when washed.not in a drawer.
No they won't. The only way they will shrink is to put them in the dryer.
no i am pretty sure they don't shrink.
NO
hot water is the enemy
Yes they do! They can also shrink if they have been hanging in the closet! I don't know how it happens, but it really does! Be careful, it can also happen to clothes made of polyester, nylon and especially spandex! LOL:)
