How can you clean a wooden dresser?


Question:I have a wooden dresser and I think it had bugs in it and I want to clean it. can I clean it with soap and water? what should I use?

it depends on the finish that was applied to it when it was built. if it has an oil finish then clean murphys, wax finish soap and water then reapply the wax. urethane finishe clean with anything

Does it have a finish? Try linseed oil if the finish is almost gone or not at all. Murphy's Oil is great as well. Orange Wood Cleaner is good also
