Can i use just vinegar to wash my clothes?

Question:with now baking soda or anything else?

Answers:
I add vinegar to my rinse water in my washing machine. It makes clothes soft and no static cling. I do not use fabric softener. Here is a link for other uses of vinegar

why?
I suppose you could, in a pinch. But you would be better off using some soap or detergent too.
