What is the best way to put an iron on patch on a shirt and jeans?
Question:Never did one before and I can't screw up this outfit...help!
Answers:
Position patch on clothing, cover with a white cloth (handkerchiefs work great) iron following directions of patch. Usually you don't really iron, but just place the iron on top of the patch without making the traditional back and forth motions.
Make sure you have under the patch as well, so it doesn't bond to the backside of the shirt as well as the front, if you follow my meaning.
try putting a towel between the iron and the patch on the clothes.
just place it, then turn the iron on then let it sit for 20 seconds, LOW HEAT then slowly run the iron over the patch for another couple of minuites, untill you can tug on the patch and it wont come off, iron ons arent the best thing to use, but anyway, when the clothes cool, use a needle and thread to secure the patch onto the clothes, because after the 2nd wash the patches corners start to peel off.
Usually when you buy patches they come with glue on them, you just have to be careful making sure that your iron isn't too hot. And apply a little pressure and you should be fine.
