Is propanethricarboxylic acid in fast dry carpet cleaner-rinse safe? Is it considered "green"?

Question:

Answers:
That sounds like a PH nuetralizer. Likely some sort of additive intended to help negate any potential discoloration or damage to the carpet.

Citric Acid is an item used to help with carpet yellowing, and that is what made me think this ingredient may be akin to it.

Gonna check a little more.

DONT DO IT, just don't. lol, actually I'm not sure, try what all the carpet cleaners say, test a little bit somewhere, and if it don't look right, don't do it.
I usually go by the rule of thumb that anything I can"t pronounce is not good for my body or the environment. I found that this is usually true with household items. If you can't find anything else to use, go online or call the company that makes it and ask for the MSDS report. This tells you the protocol for treating injuries due to the chemical and will give you a hint at the level of toxicity.
