How can I remove lily pollen stains from an oak table?

Question:

Answers:
Depends on what kind of finish it is... really your best bet (and most simple) is some lacquer thinner. Don't use too much though... If the stain is over a larger area I might recommend Naptha (High flash) I personally use it to remove excess wood stain and glaze without harming the lacquer or sealer.

The surprisingly simple answer to this might be sunlight. If you can move the table into strong sunlight the stain will eventually fade after 2-3 days. I haven't tried it with wood but I know it definitely works with fabrics.
