Blood stains?
Question:I can usually get these out, but my bf must have super blood! I can't get the stain out of my sheets, and they're colored so I can't bleach them. What should I try?
Answers:
Soak them in the bath tub overnight in cold salt water and they should come out.
Try soaking them in some hydrogen peroxide for a while then rinse usually works on most fabrics
Hi, Boys! What can I Say! I always knew they were different. Soak your sheets overnight in ice cold water. Nothing else! do not use warm water as that will set the stain in the material. In the morning, wash as usual. Bye
Try Hydrogen peroxide, full strength. I can't remember it ever damaging the colors on my scrubs when I've used it to get blood spots off of them. I work with animals and get blood on my scrubs often.
Just put it on and let it sit for several minutes. You may have to do it several times, rinsing with COLD water in between. ONLY use cold water on blood spots, warm water will set the stain. If you have already washed the sheets in warm water, this may not work, but it is still worth a try!
Peroxide. Pour it on and let stand til it lightens, then wash it and see if it's gone, if not repeat til it is, you don't have to stand there and look at it, I wad my sheet up and lay it on the washer and every now and then put peroxide on it. This is how nurses keep white uniforms.
Soak the stain with cold water , then add salt, leave the salt on for some time , then wash your sheet´s , use a cold water wash, The more heat you add to a blood stain , the harder it is to remove
I have used toothpaste and an old toothbrush to scurb it. Also use cold water to rinse. Then wash. I hope this works for you.
l used a Tide pen to get a blood stain out. lt worked, but l can't remember the color l used it on. you could try a small amt where it tucks under.
Fels-Naptha bar soap. works great for all kinds of stains. all you have to do is use a wet toothbrush and get it all sudsy and then scrub the stain with it. After that, let it sit for an hour or so and wash like normal. (BTW, blood stains are usually easier to get out if the person rubs some of THEIR saliva on it, preferably while still wet.)
You could buy this color bleach. I don't know what it is called but it is bleach for colors.
ivory bar soap rub it on and wash your sheets it should all come out
Cold water rinse till the stain is lifted.. then use a mild soap on it so that the residual stain will be completed lifted in the regular wash cycle . Good Luck
